Job Description – Golang developer
Hamilton Investments is looking for an experienced Golang developer to join our growing development team. You will be someone who produces work of high standards and combines expert knowledge of Golang to produce quality code.

Based in London, you will be responsible for the delivery of software products for our unique crypto-exchange platform. The ideal candidate would be someone who has previously worked in the financial industry on a trading platform or someone from a betting background. Knowledge around low latency development would. An understanding of microservice architecture would also be required.

Essential Experience

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• A minimum of 3 years developing in Golang in commercial applications
• Experience focussed on backend engineering, systems engineering or scaling web services
• Strong knowledge of Go programming language
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience with GIT
• Comfortable to develop code in Linux environment
• SQL knowledge
• Microservice architecture in Go programming language
• EC2 use
• Comfortable to work under pressure

Preferred

• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with integration with web and mobile application
• PostgreSQL knowledge
• gRPC knowledge
• Redis
• Experience working with payment system
• Experience using JIRA/Confluence
• Experience in the AGILE/SCRUM ceremonies and methods
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience with Domain Driven Design
